Biotin

How good is it and what exactly does it do?

My barefoot pony has good horn, no cracks, exfoliating soles, nice frogs, slightly smelly, given the wet weather (but disinfected daily), flat footed feet.

How does biotin fit into this picture?

sounds like he has all he needs in his diet and it is a true barefoot diet no sugars then shouldnt need biotin, unless gras is lacking in something but the feet will tell you, if cracks start to appear, chipping which didnt use to happen then add some biotin to the diet, I did with mine and after 1 month the chipping stopped, think it was the fields as i had changed yards.

I used it for a while and didn't see any benefits so stopped using it
