Morning,

I currently live in the center of Birmingham... and am looking to move my horse nearer to me (currently at my parents).

As near to the city as possible I guess would be ideal. But will consider within half an hour. Anyone know of anywhere? Thanks :D

Swallowfields. A435 out of the city. From centre at peak times it would 40 mins. Out of peak time 25.

Well run yard with compeition centre. They have a website.

depends on your priorities!! swallowfield is ok but not much hacking and mainly roadwork, and when comps are on the schools are busy. What are your priorities? turnout? hacking? menage/walker/sjs? etc etc. plenty yards near birmingham with little turnout and nightmare hacking, so maybe look slightly further afield. what type of livery would you like? diy/part/ful??

I want to go DIY. Ideally id like to just rent a field, and keep him out all the time!

But in reality, just a basic yard, nothing fancy or expensive. Not bothered about walkers ect. Could even live without a menage. Ill consider anything. Happy for it too be just outside Birmingham - aslong as its near a train station.

If you want train preferably, look for places in Marston Green, Tile Hill, Hampton in Arden, Berkswell and Balsall Common. London Midland train line from Birmingham New Street, regular trains too.
