Birthdays....

Anyone else notice that when you have a horse your birthday becomes less about you and more about the horse.....

This year (birthday tomorrow) I have gotten:
Money from siblings & parents to put towards bridle
NEW boots from OH (bullied him into that one)
Really nice new grooming kit from ex-YO (also a friend)
Schooling whip from best mate...

I remember the days when my presents were all about me!!!
(mind you am waiting the arrival of new bridle with baited breath so it's all my own fault really!)

My birthday present was a horse! (well, mum gave me full ownership), for christmas I want a Stubben double bridle..........it's all about them now!!!! bastards

yep, pretty much everything i get for christmas or my birthday is for shadow or horsey things for me, i think the only non horsey thing i get is chocolate!

hehee! i know the feeling! My birthday was yesterday and pretty much every thing as either vodka or something horse related! Pressies from mum and dad haven't arrived yet as we dont get post at the weekends! So no doubt it'll be horsey clobber!! xx
