I have been a few times, it's great for young horses as they have loads of jumps at different heights up to about 2'9". The only down side as you may have guessed is that it is in a wood so spectators have little or no visibility and if you are really unlucky as I was last year you will end up slap bang in the middle of a group of paint ballers - it was not much fun!!! So definately ring and make sure there is no paint balling on on the day you want to go!!
It goes up to 3"6ft, but it is a very small 3"6ft.
We live 10 minutes away, the surface is always brilliant as really sandy soil. There isn't any open space really, but a good variety of jumps set out in a nice long course.
There maybe one or two slightly higher jumps but when I went the only way to warm up it to have a trot round the wood and you can't really have a gallop! I went a year ago so it may have changed a little! I would say Lincomb Equestrian would be much better for you if you are competing at Novice level. As long as it doesn't rain too much before you go (v. wet ground) there are many more questions you can ask of your horse with a big water complex, skinnys etc. Lincomb is in Stourport so not far from Kiddy but I'm not sure if the course is open yet.

It's changed a lot in the past year- they have built a new 3"6ft course, but it isn't very big.
They also have a field to warm up in with a couple of logs in too.
Oh bissell is good! My mate goes there alot! Good for different types of jjumps etc!
