I'm being very self indulgent but don't care. We put out some very low jumps tonight and Pete enjoyed himself jumping and for the first time ever I wasn't scared, I actually had fun

I just hope I can keep it up. I think the reason I was scared before is that he likes to jump and gets a bit strong. I've just realised that by just half halting he will still listen and I'm still in control and he's coming back to me. I love my pony

That's great! If you build your confidence back up when they're small then you can gradually progress higher! Even if it's only an inch a week!
