Bit Fitting

Following from an earlier post about equine services, just wondered how many people have used a bit fitter?

I did look into a Hilary Vernon clinic last year but it was very expensive...there most be others out there...any recommendations?

My dentist helped me with my cob, I was using a 6" bit and she had a look and suggested i went for a 6 1/4 as she is quite fleshy around the mouth. When i finally found a bit in that size she re checked it for me to make sure it was a perfect fit.

Dentist, vet, saddlers, reading books and HHO and manufacturers sites, but no, not used a bit fitter
