Just wanted to know if anyone could think of a bit I could use for my jumping mare Cinders... She changes all the time but at the moment she just will not allow contact at all, she is normally ridden in a French link loose ring gold snaffle but she just won't come down onto it and sticks her head in the air. This makes it difficult to jump her aswell because she will throw her head up infront of the jump putting her striding off and because her head is up, her back end is down, causing her to clip jumps. I tried a French link Neue Schule 2 ring Dutch gag and it didn't help at all but a cheap plastic version of it worked brilliantly for flat work and jumping until the plastic split and ripped her mouth, so that won't be an option. Was considering a Nathe bit to try and get her to accept the contact? Her back, teeth etc have all been checked in the past month so it is nothing to do with that. Hope somebody can help, thanks x
