Bit got tangled up?!

One of my Snaffles has got tangled up since I last used it (weird I know!) and I cant work out how to sort it out and it's driving me mad!! Tried every which way to get the mouthpiece back through the ring but can't work it out. It's a french link snaffle if that makes any difference. It's probably something really simple but I cant for the life of me work it out!! Help!!!

A French link snaffle has five parts (three on the mouthpiece and two rings). Take five different coloured bits of sticky tape and put one on each part. Then post a pic and I'll try to help you work out which bit to poke where.
