Bit help-please

please could i ask for a little help with bits please, my connie arron is currently in a happy mouth snaffle, but i am finding myself in a couple of situations where i can't stop, as he is quite fit and full of life, he has quite a soft mouth so i can't use strong bits because they don't work, but i am looking for something that would be a little bit more helpful!
sorry, i sound useless but this is one part that i am not fully useful with!

Have you tried a grackle?? Or a 2 ringed 3 ring happy mouth gag?? Or a happy mouth wilkie snaffle?
