Bit Help

Hey Guys

Has anyone tried a Full Cheek Snaffle with Copper Peanut? My horse is having the dentist up on friday to have his teeth done and I am looking for a new bit. He is currently in a kk ultralight but is constantly evading the contact, some of this I feel is partly because of his teeth but want to change to encourage him and to work on the bit. Would this be a good one to use and does anyone else use it?
