Due to having all my tack stolen on thursday night/friday morning, I need a new bit for my girlie, but don't know what size she already had, so how do I measure for one?

****Oh and to add to the fact that we had our tack room broken into on thursday night/friday morning, my mum had her house burgled on friday night!!

(We're not in the same area, may I add) She left to go on holiday on friday lunchtime, up to Northumberland, then got a phonecall from her neighbour on saturday morning so had to drive all the way back!! Luckily they seem to have only taken her TV and her car keys but that means she's had to have her car's electronical key re programmed to change the car's locks.

I posted the other day about how to measure for a bit - search my other posts and you'll find it easily enough.
It involves a wooden spoon and rubber rein stops!
