We have fields and stables at home... I currently keep my 14.2hh and 14.3hh/15hh at home (i don't ride them). I'm looking to bring my tb home (she's in livery at mo) as well over the winter as livery is costing me a fortune and is about 20mins away! The problem is I only have two stables and 1 big tack/feed room (which yes we could convert into two stables or 1 large stable but cost is the problem there!!) at home ... so my idea is to stable (at night) my 14.3/15hh cob which is currently on part-loan/share and stable my tb at night as she is used to be stabled and is my rather expensive main horse!! and to put my 14.2hh pony in with my friend's cob who also lives out 24/7 with shelter, water supply etc. That way, my sharer will have my 14.3hh stabled at night so i could clip her for her also i would have my main horse at home. Would it be fair on my 14.2hh? I love them all the same and i don't want him to feel like i'm pushing his nose out!! He is retired and doesn't get ridden but is rather old (not sure on exact age but in his 20's) but can be rather bad tempered so would have to see how he got on with friend's horse first as obviously don't want any bullying. What do you guys think? Maybe it's a bit petty of me asking but i just don't want him to feel pushed out. I'd still see him everyday as the field is right next to mine separated off by electic fence. Also, not sure how he'd take to not being turned out with my 14.3hh mare as they've been living together for years and years and he's so protective over her. Ideas welcome!
