bit of a pointless post but we managed to clip half of my oldies legs without any sedation 
He hates being clipped and normally has to be given two doses to stop him kicking out so I was shocked when he let my dad clip from his shoulder to his knee. clever boy
he looks ridiculous though, poor horse
I also managed to do more than two rounds in trot and my knee didn't hurt or feel unstable - yay!
And I can finally dismount without having to use a block.
