Bit of a random Q but...

Hey if anyone remembers way back when I said I was buying a ponio at end of July this is sort of related to that

My friend is in a similar position to me she can't get funds for a horse until July and I don't have time for one until then. She asked YO if they would hold a mare they had on sales livery that she wanted to buy until July (when she could afford to buy her). YO said she would but found out on Sunday that she'd sold her to someone else.

I'm slightly concerned now as although YO bought my ponio with me in mind (told YO exactly what I wanted and she got it for me) if she gets an offer before end of July (V. unlikely as pony only just started to be ridden) will she take the offer even though she bought pony for me

I now its a silly Q but kind of confused...

The problem is that the Yard Owner would have a contract with the owner of the pony to sell and any delay would cause the livery charges to pile up.

Divasmum- Thats true but she shouldn't have told my friend she'd keep the horse for her if she couldn't
