I have somthing strange going on with my normally very sound horse, I only ride at the weekends and for the last couple he has been a bit un- level going out on the farm track but once out and about is sound for the ride. Got back yesterday and had a friend walk and trot him he was fine. But turning out this morning there was this slight hesitation on his offside as he walked the camba of the track is not good there either. Once on the grass he was fine. I am having him shod and check at the weekend there is no sign of any injury. The farm track is quite hard and stony and when ridden I can feel it at first and then it goes back to normal. Will see what the farrier has to say it is only slight but for him not the normal any ideas ? Feet are hard and cold and so are his legs no pulse and it is very slight but there.
