cant say names, we have a new livery, bit of a pied piper as in animals follow person everywhere. Where old yard was this person reckoned didnt treat dogs well, reported to rspca, they supposedly never turned up, only there a few days before moving the pony to ours. Cut long story short this person went back in middle of night and nicked the dog, passed it on to a friend of hers. Now im against any form of cruelty but imo you dont nick a dog. Old livery yard reported to police they take said person to station to question who does not admit to anything. Now im bit concerned who this person is exactly and the fact has a pony at my yard where only one person lives at the house on their own and also i have a dog of similar breeding which i leave there 3 days a week.
any thoughts guys. hope you can understand im trying not to say names etc.

Im not sure Ive understood this correctly, but I think from what youre saying this new person took a dog and passed it on as she thought the dog was being badly treated ? If thats the case, I dont really see why youre worried about your dog (which Im sure isnt badly treated). Or have I misunderstood you ?

Sorry but this doesn't add up! The RSPCA have to investigate every report, so there is no way they wouldn't turn up!!! Ok they may not have got there that day, but they would have gone out.... Nicking the dog is not excusable unless it was under serious threat, i.e. being beaten, starved, severely neglected, abandoned etc... and I wouldn't be very happy to have someone like that around either! If she/he is brazen enough to steal the dog, why is she/he not brazen enough to admit what she/he has done!!!
