Hi

Didn't know where to post this but we live in the middle of no where and we are having trouble with a fox marking outside our front door and front garden. When you go outside the front door it stinks, its so bad that even when you drive home and enter the drive in the car with the windows up you can smell it.

I've told my husband he needs to go outside when its dark and wee in the front garden!!!

Will this help? Does anyone else have any other ideas?

Thanks
Pinky

Well I suppose you could try wee-ing, I've no idea if it'll work or not!

Vinegar is good for getting rid of smells, mix up a 50/50 solution with water in a spray bottle and squirt at the affected areas - actually the smell of the vinegar might put the fox off!

Wouldn't it be more effective to use boy dog wee's instead? obviously away from the front door... Used to like seeing foxes in the wild but they are getting too brave for my liking :(

You can buy lion dung pellets to scatter round. Apparently they work well on everything from rats to Rhinos lol! This is the time of year when you hear the screams of vixens in oestrus echoing round the countryside so the dog foxes are all loved up and leaving calling cards everywhere. It should stop in a few weeks.

Weeeeeee!!!
I don't like to admit it but I have a wee when I lock my chickens in by their pen and never lost one to a fox even though I've seen them run past 20 yrds away in the field.

Just incase your picturing me squatting.
I'm a bloke. Lol
