Bit the bullet today......

..... And had my first proper riding lesson after being self taught for 20 years

And feedback was........ I don't have a major swinging lower leg like I thought, nor do I ride awful like I was mortified about

Am really really pleased as almost cancelled, but it's a kick up the bum for some self confidence and with a bit of work the hairy cob should make a cracking pony

So anyone worried about having lessons, I'd say don't wait and just go for it .... I already can't wait for my next one

I did it too not as bad as I thought I was either, she said I was a light rider with kind hands. And she's happy to come and teach at my new yard which has a school so hopefully onwards and upwards now
