Bit wanted..... 5¾ inch.....

Does anyone know if it is possible to find a 5¾ inch, loose-ring, full cheek (Fulmer) snaffle - with a French link, copper peanut or revolving centre link mouth piece?

Am looking online, but am not finding.
Am getting quietly desperate

I have got an Eldonian revolver bit which is exactly what you are looking for but as a 2 ring gag rather than a snaffle. I will have a look and see if they do what you are after.

They do this which isn't loose ring but may do the job if you can't find anything else:

The two halfs of the bit rotate independantly which is strange and I'm not sure what effect it is meant to have but it is a good bit. I bought it as, like you I knew exactly what I wanted and it was the only one I could find that matched my requirements.

OK....either 5 1/2'' or 6''...I'm guessing its the sizing thats the problem...not the actual bit?

My horse is that size and its harder to get reasonably priced bits above 5.5 inch. Neue Schule, sprenger do them. I always keep my eye on Ebay.
