Bit warmers?

Do bit warmers exist? i always feel mean putting his bridle on when its cold! so just wandering if such a things exists, nothing electrical or complicated, just something to put over the bit when not using it.... ?

Not sure - I usually just detach the bit from the bridle while I'm grooming or mucking out and put it in my pocket to warm up before riding

When we where backing horses we put in our bras if the weather was freezing .

Bowl of warm water? Then you don't have to faff around unfastening it and putting it back on.

I just apologise and tell him it won't take long to warm up

I just wrap my fingers round it and hold it in my hand for a few seconds longer than normal, I'm sure this makes a huge difference!

I boil the kettle, hold leather out of way and pour the water over bit, takes a few mins to cool down to horse friendly temperature (depending on how cold weather is).

I put the kettle on and just before putting on the bridle pour hot water over the bit. Even with boiling water the bit is never too hot. Maybe bring a thermos of hot water if no electric.

Or do what my friend did to me last week. Hang bridle and reins using saddle pad Velcro through the girth straps (horse was saddled) and tuck the bit into horses armpit using the girth

My mare is very tolerant haha
