Bitch in season

Just wondering if there is anything you can do for them to perk them up a bit while in season? Ellie seems so down, wines constantly and just isn't herself. Hate it when she's miserable.

Actually, do dogs suffer from period pains like people!? Because if she feels like I do sometimes it's no wonder she's not on form!

My 8 month old is having her first season, I thought something was wrong a couple of days before as she was moping about a bit & being very calm and she never does calm. She's only in her first week, she doesn't seem depressed or anything just a lot quieter than the norm. I really don't know if they get pains, she's just getting lots of cuddles.

Dunno about pain, but Bella does get very out of sorts, listless and her coat is dreadful when she is in season.

Had a feeling it was coming, she'd been acting strange...although to be fair she is a very strange girlie at the best of times!
