Bitch not losing weight....

My westie needs to lose some weight, we cut her food by 1/3 on vets recommendations and she started to lose weight, and seems to have come to a stop...shes walked twice a day on/off lead depending where we are and comes to the yard with me at weekends for a couple of hours off lead exercise too each day.
Any ideas? I guess the vet will say to cut her feed more, goodness she will be unimpressed

She has hit a plateau, a bit like we humans

Regarding her age, would more exercise be viable? What food is she on now? Was it vet recommended?

she is fed royal canin westie food, shes 2 nearly so yes she could have more exercise shes not old or a puppy or anything. She just started losing then seems to have got stuck!

I'd whack it up then if she is fit for it. As much running or jogging as you can with her or maybe take her on a bike ride.

Royal Canin also do a mini light food. If she has skin problems, you may need to compare the ingredients between your current food and the light. Many dogs when put on a light food are unimpressed and go off their food a bit, maybe it is less tasty, but then that can only help with the weight loss! You should be able to get the light quite easily.
