I really need some help!
I have a 2year old female yorkie and a 1 year old female chihuahua who were both wonderful friends before my husband brought home a male yorkie who is now 4 months old.
The dogs were allowed to roam the house freely until he arrived and has proven virtually impossible to housetrain. As a result we have put them all outside in a kennel.
However whenever we let them into the house or whenever the older dogs see a human, they seem to get jealous of each other and begin fighting quite viciously.
The chihuahua always seems to come off second best and now spends her time hiding away...poor thing.
Im worried that my kids are going to get bitten in the process as they dont respond to any commands when fighting.
It seems to be the human contact that triggers the fight and it seems to only be since the male pup was introduced.
Anyone have any suggestions before someone gets really hurt?

Rehome the new puppy and maybe hope that things get back to normal?

My husband would have a heart attack if I did that!Im thinking Im going to speak to a behaviourist tomorrow.Maybe he can shed some light.

I'd bring them all back in instead of chucking them outside. Aside the fact that they're not used to living out - he's not going to get house trained outside. Get him a crate for when you're not there.

Alternatively re-home the puppy

Agree with the above....from being indoor family pets to all of a sudden being put outside in a kennel just because one was not trainable

seems rather unfair....they are probably fighting for some attention and the fact that their ranks have now completely changed...as now having 3 dogs u now have a pack.....as suggested above it would have been better to introduce the younger one via a crate...1 for house training purposes and 2...to allow your bitches to become gradually accustomed to the arrival of the dog.
As the pack leader it is up to u to step in a correct the order and reprimant the behaviour of the lead fighter.
I would recommend you do speak to a behaviourist asap for the sake of the dog you describe as scared.....bitch fighting is a horrible situation to deal with and will be very traumatic for the dog on the receiving end.

Are the bitches spayed? Are they all outside in the kennel together even though the bitches are fighting?

Have to say, I'd also get rid of the dog; things seemed fine without him.
