Bites?

Corroy has, what I think are bites on her face only. They are quite hard and big and scabby. She has two under her jaw and some more on the side of her face. Is anyone elses horses getting bitten at this time of year? Or any suggestions what they could be. None of the other horses on the yard have them.

Could it be an allergic reaction to something- mine came out in a scabby rash when he ate some naughty things in the hedge

Vet said there were two rashes going on, one may have been an allergic reaction to sap or rosehips and the other was a lumpy reaction to bites on his neck. There are certainly plenty of bugs around still.
