Bitless bridle?

as i will no longer be able to ride my 6 y/o for serious work i was thinking about investing in a bit less bridle. Just a cheap synthetic one. I've heard Dr Cooks bridle but I'm not yet willing to spend £100+ on a bridle i don't know will work. I've heard they work miracles on even the strongest mouthes. Does anyone have one? are they good? what price did you pay? where did you buy it? and of course do they work?

I have a friend who SJ's in hers and she swears by it. Don't know how much she paid for it though

My friend has one and i've used it when my mare had ulcers. Worked well in it. She would probably sell it if you wanted to buy one as she doesn't ride anymore. Its a brown synthetic one in cob size. PM me if interested and i'll ask her if she wants to sell. I would think about £30.

I got a cheap leather one off ebay for £25.00. 'tis cheap foreign leather but it works fine.
