Bitless rules for BS and RC?

Hi all, considering trying horse in a bitless bridle - what are the rules though please as to whats allowed under BS rules and general RC rules (for SJ, I know anything dressage related requires a bit)? Thinking a side pull type one rather than the old fashioned hackamore type. Having ridden in bits for years, Im not sure what the rules are at the moment.

Anything except dressage is fine bitless. So glad you’ve made the decision. There is a lot of campaigning going on to change these ancient rules, so hopefully it won’t be long before we don’t end up with a penalty for putting our horse’s welfare first.
