bitless suggestions

Bought a new horse today and would like suggestions on bitless bridles. Horse is a bit head shy so i'm thinking ones with poll pressure might not be good idea right now? do you think poll pressure would bother a head shy horse? Is it just trial and error as to what bridle works best? Also do you think it best i get to know him with a bit first and then go bitless or just change straight away?

Why do you want to use a bitless one, is there a specific problem?

just interested in trying it out as i think if i were a horse i'd prefer a bitless bridle to a bitted one.

Dr cook's are pretty good, but any bitless bridle can be harsh, as can a bit in certain hands. What's the horse used to? Maybe stick with that as you get to know one another?

I tried him in a jointed snaffle but i'll probably put him in a happy mouth straight bar til we get to know each other.
