Bits - brass mouthpiece

Hi,

Does anyone know if bits made with brass mouthpieces are OK. Seen a full cheek lozenge snaffle for sale with a brass mouthpiece. Looks OK.

No, brass is too soft for a mouthpiece. Are you sure its not copper?

It said brass on the label. Looks solid, but like you, wondered how safe it was.
