I have a NS bradoon and weymouth and they do not sit in my mare's mouth correctly... the bradoon seems to cross over

I was wondering what others used on their doubles? I bought the NS ones because my mare used to have one of their snaffles and liked the material they were made out of. She has since started using a KK Ultra which she mouths up on an awful lot and really softens on it

Hiya,
I am just experimenting too, and use NS. I have kept the NS Verbinden and then added NS slightly curved weymouth. It is quite a thin mouthpiece because my boy has a large tongue, etc... and the other weymouth I used was too thick. He is not accepting the weymouth yet, but only used 2-3 times. It is trial and error I think!!

The bradoon bit should sit ontop of the weymouth, but if it sits too low, you may need to either drop the weymouth or bring the bradoon up higher... more than likely drop the weymouth.. as long as it is not toooooo close to the tushes.. then again being a mare I doubt she has these!!!!!!

She actually has one tush as she is the head mare

Right, will have another look at it... I never remember it being a problem when I used to use it before on her, but when I put it in the other day it just didn't seem to sit right
