Bits over 6"...where to buy from?

Hi folks, quick post.

Teddy was shown briefly last year in a simple straight bar rubber bit 5.75" but after his last show it had rubbed the sides of his mouth. Anyway...I've measured his mouth (best way I can) and he's at least 6.25" now. I thought a centre revolver loose ring type but can hardly find one over 6".

What would you recommend and where from?

How about trying the bit bank. You can find their details by googling they also offer expert biting advice. I found hem very helpful.

HI,we buying out from e-bay,from America. so far bought 7"french link snaffle and kimberwick for Teddy.Not too expensive,and postage is quite quick i have to say.

You have to be prepared to troll through all the listings, I normally search bit 6 and then look through

depends on what you are looking for or sometimes you can get bits specially made which although they cost a little more they are not that different £ than some expensive off the peg bits.

Thanks folks, I'll have a look at your recommendations. I don't want to end up with a massive heavy bit just because I need a big size....he's still just a young boy! Cheers!
