My horse is currently in a jointed rubber pelham with roundings (due to my sister not being able to hold 2 sets of reins) but she finds that he is still hard to stop and steer. can any on suggest a different type of bit to try on him please?

I would firstly ask how much riding experience your sister has? Do you think its her riding ability or does your horse really need a stronger bit?
