bits

All I can say is that quite a few people highly rate Neue Schues. Never had one myself though

thanks :-)

i want to try something different, a change in bit may help my control and her head carriage...
she will work in an outline, a proper one, coming from behind etc... but shes so tight in her jaw, just wondering if a neue sheule thingimibob will help that??

both of these bits are very good for horses with sensitive mouths. the metal helps the horse to salivate, which encourages them to relax there jaw. the mouth pieces are narrow which suits horse with small but fleshy mouths. most horse seem to go very well in these bits. i have one and it is the only bit my warmblood would keep a steady head carriage in. please bear in mind that as the mouth pieces are shaped.... you will need a size biger than usual as they will sit too close to mouth corners otherwise...hope this is of some help. x

Thanks

I have a tbxarab
shes very sensitive (i school in a french link fulmer, and hack and jump in a french link wilkie) a small mouth and large tongue too!!!
her fulmer is a 4&1/2 and wilkie is a 5 so what size will i need?

I think I will probably try her in a friends loose ring first, and then buy my own (the 2nd link)

i have that on my Tb mare and it is fantastic can't rate it highly enough, she has a mahoosive tongue in a tiny mouth so not alot of room, this bit was perfect am i have tried everything with her, hanging cheeks, pelhams, waterford. the lot and this was the best one.

you can rent it from the shop4bits before you buy it to make sure it is the right one. it is like £5 for 30days and they were really good with me i tried a couple of bits with them before buy this one, and the fiver comes off the bit price if you buy it from them at the end
