Are 2 ring french links good for strong ponies? Thought it might be a little less harsh then a 3 ring gag my ponys currently in a French link snaffle but hes very strong so I've kept the french link and gone for the 2 ring so its similar but something a bit stronger.

French links dig into the tongue. When you say strong what is pony doing? Are you using a back strap with the bit? And what is your bridle set up like?
