I've been at the Three Counties Show this weekend and was glued to the showing especially the Cob classes.
Problem is i have no experience of showing at all as my boys are hunt horses. I would really love to buy a show cob to start from the beginning and give it a go.
What sort of money would i be looking at spending for something suitable?

It depends if you can put in the work you could buy a young hairy cob fairly cheap and take it from there. If you want an experienced show horse then you're looking at £6000+.

Why not have a go at hunter classes or if you're brave at jumping working hunter?

Stop before it is too late...only joking. Have a look on Horsequest at the show cobs as an idea. I have come to county level showing in the last few years with starting off at novice with my horse and having been really lucky to get to HOYS since. I think the best advice is to get help from someone very knowledgeable and not to turn down any help offered.
