Bitting Advice..

I am having a few problems with my Midget pony.
He currentlt is ina D ring french link snaffle
He is a 4yr old 11.2 welsh A. He has started over the last month of so throwing his head when ridden and isn't taking a contact as well as he used to.
Had the dentist today and she told us he had very big teeth for how narrow his jaw is and that it is minimizing the room he has for a bit.
I was wondering on what sort of bit recommendations as i am not sure - other than maybe a narrow mouthpeice?

perhaps a narrow straight bar snaffle

There used to be a thing called a magic pony bit basically it was a straight bar snaffle with an angled low port. Not sure if they are still around, but worked well on mine which had a similar problem
