First off i'd like to thank anyone who gave me advice to switch to a french link sweet iron snaffle, as it's changed my horse SO much! she's no longer a giraffe!

Infact she's become the complete opposite, and taken to leaning, or, shoving here nose down and/or poking it out when she decides she want's to go faster or stop.
i think this lies in the bit once again..her teeth are good and her back and saddle are also fine.
So basically i'm seeking a bit to help with her leaning and maybe stop her having her nose out so run off.
I was thinking a waterford mouthpeice?
she can get quite strong in a snaffle too..so i'm wondering if you guys could reccomend a bit or any ideas to further her progress.
thank you in advance.

oh and erm..she's a 15.2 welsh cob cross anglo arab, i am no expert but i'd say her lips are pretty fleshy[around the corners looks like fish lips!]

A loose ring may help prevent her leaning. Im no expert but its wat ive been told by one!! More 'fixed' bits can allow for leaning so maybe avoid those? I was told to avoid a fixed cheek bit, such as an eggbutt, for that reason.
Oh and ive just ordered a sweet iron tranz losenge loose ring so im glad your horse likes his!! Makes me feel more confident about my choice cos my horse tends to hold his head above the bit (and higher!!). Hope that helps
