In my previous post re bitting i have touched on my big warmblood being a little strong,

I have found a bit that works fab and he likes it!!

But its a waterford pelham

I have someone coming to see him at the weekend, and I would like to know what you would do??

A) Put on the myler and grackle noseband, he goes well for me, but can snatch at others who dont know him, I may also risk her not being able to stop in canter!!!!

or

B) Put him in the waterford pelham, and a flash noseband, he is brill in all ways, but risk her being put off by his bitting???

Than ks in advance

Maybe suggest that you ride him and show how he goes in the myler and grackle and ask which bit they would rather, that way you are being honest in saying that when you know him he is fine in the myler, also to be fair if they cant be sympathetic about his bitting and ride him capably in a bit that you know he goes in then they should be looking for a different horse as the last thing you want is someone yanking his mouth out as they done have the ability to hold him with their riding. Hope this helps a little

Thankyou very much, he is advertised as suitable event type, and the lady sounds very genuine and i told her i jump him and hack him in the pelham.

Would this put any of you off??

It wouldn't put me off as such, but I personally would rather try him in the myler/grackle combination and if needs be battle a bit, then I would know that I have a step up in the bitting if the necessity arises if that makes sense.
I would also show the horse in the myler, maybe pointing out as politely as you can that you weren't confident enough about the viewers riding ability without seeing them ride first and that is why you opted to put him in a milder version.
