Can anyone recommend me a bit for 'lifting' up the head?
The horse in question is normally ridden in a loose ring snaffle for schooling and hacking. In this bit he works in a nice soft outline so have no issues there. However out hunting he can be strong so have been riding him in a 2 ring gag which although helps with control, encourages him to over bend and lean on the bit.
