I'm idly wondering what bit you most commonly use?

(In the interest of giving people most options I've seperated the poll into 2 parts so you may select the mouthpiece and the cheek which you use!)

My girl is most commonly ridden in a Mullen pelham as we mostly hack and snaffles don't cut it out hacking! However, when we school she goes into a lozenge fulmer.

Pickle is normally ridden in a loose ring waterford, allthough in winter he goes mad out hacking so I use a waterford dutch gag, but the rest of the time he is in a loose ring waterford I wouldnt trust the RS clients using a dutch gag on pickle

I am not sure which catagory it fits in to, but use Myler comfort snaffles on both mine..extra wide middle section to prevent pinching. D cheeks with loops

I switch between a full cheek double jointed lozenge and a loose ring double jointed lozenge. Governor is in the prior at the moment and he's lovely and light in it, but I tend to switch if he starts to feel a little heavy on my hands.

I go for German Silver (or similar) where possible.

For flatwork/exercising I use single jointed snaffle with eggbutt mouth. For jumping/fastwork I use ported mullen pelham on coloured and running gag with snaffle mouth on willow.

I use myler low ported comfort snaffle mouth piece with kimblewick cheeks for jumping and myler comfort cheeked snaffle for dressage. Very happy with both.

mainly i use
Hacking on road loose ring waterford
Schooling hanging cheek waterford
fast work / XC / jumping tom thumb sweet iron gag with copper rollers

She is very strange mouth wise and i do have to alternate with her bit otherwise she gets too used to it and starts leaning/snatching/getting to strong on it
