We didn't need any - and we certainly didn't the snow that we got for several hours earlier today!
The sun has just come out, so hopefully the horses will dry off before they come in for the night.
Just looked on RAF Conningsby weather. It says it's going to be a fair week with rain on wednesday. Around 8 deg. I am fed up with todays weather too. Snow settling on the grass now. I am expecting it will have gone by tomorrow, hopefully!!
We do desperately need the rain in the south east so to be honest it's not a huge inconvenience.I also used this opportunity to fertalise the paddocks as i cannot risk waiting and then facing a spring drought, which is what happened the last two years. The grass looks green and it is growing.
Come and live in south wales, where it rains every day! Summer is a concept of overcast skys and more rain, just like winter really. It can rain here for days on end!
Thought they said we may have some snow SE,but we do need the rain badly here, cann't afford not to make any hay this year for my 5 and not have to feed them over the summer.
