I'm really liking my horse at the moment, he's just cost me a fortune

that i can ill afford. A few weeks back he decided he was going to do his back muscles in (just because he hadnt done anything to cost me for a while), had the vet out 'yup sore back muscles, needs physio' (dont quite mind the vet coming out, he is pretty hot, chance to drool a bit

) 2 sessions of physio and he's improved, and yesterday had him fitted for a new saddle as dont think the old one was helping the situation. Had asked for a second hand one at a reasonable price (approx £400) as funds limited. Lovely lady from Aston Saddlery came out (thanks to those who mentioned her) spent 1.5hr trying various one's. Agreed to take my saddle in as part ex to bring cost down. Typically though the horse decided he wasnt going to fit the more reasoably priced ones and ended up buying a new bates one instead

arggghhh, as even after the part ex still cost £650. Now dont get me wrong its a beautiful saddle and well worth the money (am now thinking of it as my long term investment) but I so wished he would have waited a couple of months for me to save some £££'s grrrrrr dont you just love them...!?

Beverage and nibbles of your choice for getting to the end!

Look on the brightside, you have a brand new gorgeous saddle! I bet it didn't take much persuading to buy it either! I need a new one - and as its for my youngster I want a secondhand one - bet I will do the same as you and buy a new one! I have an uncontrollable urge to spend spend spend when it comes to my two.
