Black Bowlers - Are They Worth Putting On Ebay?

As the title says!

I have three black hunting/showing bowlers, all made by Locks. Would you think it's worth putting them on ebay or shall I bin them?
(I'm not advertising, just asking for opinions!)
 
Well there is one on there already so yes I would put them on, may be one at a time though ...

I'd put them on Ebay. I've seen things like that sell well. It's amazing what people will pay for things that others would throw away. Happy selling.

Perhaps offer them for sale through the Sidesaddle Association as that is the only time ladies wear bowlers now. Unless they are big enough for a man, in which case you have a wider audience on ebay!

My friend hunts in hers and she doesn't ride side saddle

I am sure that people wear them on the stage as well! Was really thinking about the people who all NEED to wear them! Why does your friend hunt in one? Is it correct for ladies to hunt in bowlers astride? (I haven't got a clue - just interested) - I always thought that a lady only wore a bowler sidesaddle.

Up until a few years ago (when skull caps became the vogue!) ladies in our hunt were obliged to wear a bowler, astride or not! It was only children allowed to wear a hunting cap. There are still some ladies that have stayed with them although the majority are now in either skull caps or a proper hunting cap. I can certainly verify that these three were well hunted by the Secretary no less; would hate to count up how many days they have done between them!
