Was told about this last night and just seen this online http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/news/397/308710.html
How do you know if a website is safe to buy medicines from?
I have a horse with Cushings that is on 1mg Pergolide a day, Pergolide from the vet is £148.90 for 100 day supply.
Prescription from vet £10, High street chemist £58.79 for 100 day supply so cheaper than the vet, there are another couple of online websites that are a bit cheaper but not much, quite happy buying from High street chemists, but unless it's a well known name how can you tell, and how many people got suckered into this because it had a very similar name of a reputable company?
I've alway bought from the vet because I didn't realise that the vet prescription could be used on the High Street and was very wary of buying something for my horses health online from somewhere that I didn't know the source.
