Black Oil Sunflower Seeds

I've heard lots of great stuff about these (mainly for feet?) and would like to try my mare on them.
But I have a few q's about them...
How much should I feed my mare? She's 15.2 and a very good doe-er.. Would these maybe make her a bit tubby? or is that not something to worry about?
Any help greatfully recieved

I give my horse abt 1 - 2 cups per day and my pony 1/2 to 1 cup per day. They don't seem to have affected their weight any - I haven't reduced any of their other feed.
