You should be able to get them at any feed merchants and I have actually seen them at my local pet shop as well in the bird feed section. They are roughly £8 a bag here

Never heard of these before, how do you feed them then? I have a warmblood mare that is quite stressy and is dropping off weight. I was considering trying Topsec feed balancer

I get mine from my feed merchant - £7.20 (gone up

) for 15 kilos.

Mine get a mug twice a daily - great coats, improved feet and works well with my simple systems diet.

Just chuck them in the feed- black ones are the better type to use. They are softer and have a higher oil content.

Black Sunflower Seed is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Vitamin E, Pantothenic Acid, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Copper, Manganese and Selenium, and a good source of Thiamin.

lenty of protein and oil - I have not found my two put on weight or get fizzy since feeding them.

They are very good for us too.

Tia started me using them.
