Black oil sunflower seeds

Decided I’m going to get my horse some black sunflower seeds (boss) but wondering where I can get them there on eBay for 25 pounds for 25kg advertised for birds :/ which would last ages but thunder brooks sell 1kg for 24 pounds ! What’s the difference lol

The difference is Thunderbrooks! I used to get mine from the farm shop, also advertised for birds. I've not fed them in ages now though.

I thought so I just want a bit of extra coat condition and weight gain and wanted a cheaper option I’ll buy him the bird ones lol

For condition and weight gain micronised linseed is by far and away the best and most economical option. I used them as mine was on a very restricted diet at the time and I wanted to add a bit more variety. I wouldn't use them for weight gain though as lots seem to pass through undigested!
