I already have best long black leather boots for dressage and showing but would not wear them for jumping and hunting XC as not comfortable enough

So basically I am looking to get some ariat boots and gaiters, I like the brown ones but not sure whether I should stick to black I want them for Sj XC and everyday. I like the look of the classics with the suede insides but worry about how much 'feel' I would get and how good they look after they get dirty

Any advise??

Personally I would stick with black then you have the option for wearing them for competitions as well (which I think that some people do wear brown but personally i prefer black)

Iv'e had this dilema in the past and choose black.

You could almost do with having one of everything!!

I have seen people wearing brown in SJ and definitely for showing, its best. Also okay for XC. and hunting.

I love brown, I prefer it, so now there are two opposing views!

I love brown boots. In days of old out hunting it was tradition to have brown boots to wear with your tweed and black boots with your black/navy jacket.

I have black to compete in but for at home always wear brown.

Brown as you already have black ones.

black, because then the gaiters will match boots of another make if you decide to get other than ariat next time. it's impossible to match the browns.
i don't find the suede-lined ones too thick, i'm happy riding in them, but Miller's OH found them much too thick, hated them. see if you can borrow a pair first maybe?
