Black or Brown?

Im going to be buying my Tretorn bootys - its so exiting- off to try them on this week but i cant decide what colour!

I have a bay and a chestnut, both horses are in brown leather tack so i thought maybe brown would look better.

im female, and i did think that brown was more of a males colour but the shop owner said it doesnt matter.

What colour would look best?

I would go for black, but just because I like the look of black boots better.

If it was for a grey then maybe black, but I am biased, I do not wear black boots myself and hate black foot wear, so do not put black on my horse.

I suppose it is personal taste, but I prefer brown

I don't know why, but I've always thought it should be brown for jodhpur boots and black for long boots. Who knows where I got that idea from! But that's how I prefer it.
