as title, has anyone every experienced probs with the dye running on black half pads, when the horse sweats up?

if so can you name brands please, pm if pref.

Toying with a new half pad for home and would like a black one but dont want dye leakage issues!!!!!!!

I have a black sheepskin pad made by rhinegold i think so a cheaper brand, I think it was £30/35 and yes the dye does come out when i wash it but hasnt on the horse, which is a rose grey so would be pretty obvious.

Le mieux black sheepskin can stain greys, gave mine a nice blue rince effect:( checked on website and they do say it can stain greys. Used the same pad on my old bay though and it was fine.

I have a brown lemieux sheepskin showing numnah and it stains my coloured pink! Not great in the show ring but any other coat colour I don't think it'd be noticable.

I have a black lemieux girth cover that is still staining my grey an odd pink/purple mix and that's after it's been washed 5-10 times.

Would be interested to know about black Nuumed wool products on greys.

I have a black le mieux girth sleeve and it stains my grey and wondering if I got a black with natural half pad whether that would run too?

Had NuMed full numnah and no problems with dye running.

Had a sheepskin one that did, but now if it is proper sheepskin I just have natural, as they do not deem to show the dirt anyway.
