Black tongue

After riding my horse tonight i noticed her tongue was black - any ideas, no other symtpms

just wanted to bump this for you, there is an old thread on this topic and many suggested it could be to do with the grazing?

Hi Iamashowjumper - tQ - i posted it in Lounge as well as wasnt having much luck in here apparently she has been eating dandelions ( she will eat anything lol) or soil ?? Thanks for bumping xx
